Jazz vocalist...

Debuted in 1965 at a concert of the Cracow Philharmony Hall.
Later performed jazz vocals in Scandinavia, recording his first LP and single with M.
Urbaniak's band for the Atlas company in Norway. After returning to Poland he sang twice
at the Jazz Jamboree, in clubs, and at the Prague Festival. Recorded for Radio W in
Hamburg, releasing an LP entitled Live from the Aquarium Club.
In a poll conducted by the magazine Jazz Forum he was voted Poland's best jazz vocalist of
1971-72, while in Europe he ranked second between Georgie Fame and Jon Hendricks. Sang at
festivals in St. Louis (USA) and Calcutta (India). In 1995 he recorded a CD of jazz
standards entitled Time for Love, accompanying himself on drums.
